Overview
In this quest, you will create and analyze a multi-bay steel roof truss system using the Truss Wizard in MIDAS GEN NX. You will define symmetric and asymmetric truss geometry, panel divisions, verticals, diagonals, and insertion points. Eurocode S275 steel material and double-angle sections will be assigned to the top chords, bottom chords, vertical members, diagonals, and supporting struts. You will assemble the complete three-dimensional structure by copying and positioning individual trusses, creating connecting members, removing duplicated elements, and intersecting structural components. Finally, you will assign supports and self-weight, perform a linear static analysis, and review beam stresses, truss stresses, and support reactions.
